We’re a people-first agency.

Technology is great, but it’s still just a tool. We tackle big communication challenges by putting humans back in the center — creating genuine connections at an enterprise scale. Scroll on to learn more about the people behind Blue Ivory and what gets us out of bed each day (besides espresso).

Meet the innovative, passionate, talented (should we go on?)
leaders of the Blue Ivory Creative team.

Luke Marr

Luke Marr is a serial founder, creative strategist, and business consultant with a belief in expanding opportunity through commerce, communication, and human-centered technology. He advocates for technology that doesn’t become the center itself, but helps people do better work, live more fulfilling lives, and build sustainable futures.

Equal parts quiet thinker and big event enthusiast, Luke is as comfortable reading in the woods as he is surrounded by the lights, music, and energy of Las Vegas, where he is also founder of a merch company.

He started his first company at age 12 and has since built a career shaped by entrepreneurship, entertainment, and storytelling, with experiences ranging from nationally-televised racing to touring with Billboard-charting artists and appearing in acclaimed film and television productions.

Today, Luke brings that wide-ranging perspective to his work with leading B2B brands around the world as co-founder and CEO.

Kathryn Marr

Kathryn Marr is the co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of Blue Ivory Creative. During her college career, she was taught by leading professionals in the design industry; many of her professors were internationally published authors and her mentor helped develop the Adobe Illustrator software.

It was also in college that Kathryn was exposed to the idea of entrepreneurship and fell in love with it. She invested time and money into personal development, attending international events with tens of thousands of like-minded people. At the age of 19, she led a national sales team of 30+ people, developing leadership and marketing skills. These experiences led her to found Blue Ivory Creative, with partner, Luke.

Kathryn brings a passion for entrepreneurship and creativity to the table, whether she’s writing a blog post, designing a logo, or bringing someone’s entrepreneurial dream to life on the web.

Kasey Steinbrinck

Kasey Steinbrinck joined Blue Ivory Creative as Head of Content in 2026. He met Luke and Kathryn while working for Automattic, and they continued to partner on content projects with other brands over the years.

Kasey got his start in traditional media as a news producer and feature writer. The experience set him up for a long career in content marketing that included driving strategies for employers and agency clients in B2B SaaS, ecommerce, manufacturing, IT, customer communications, and more.

Kasey works with writers and marketing teams to make complicated ideas easier to understand. He believes in finding the real customer problem behind the brief to shape content that’s produced for people, not just algorithms.

Shay Bravo

Shay Bravo is a content writer, graphic designer, video editor, and WordPress enthusiast at Blue Ivory Creative.

She graduated magna cum laude with an English degree before going on to work on creative campaigns for clients such as MasterClass and e.l.f. Cosmetics. Working in the web hosting industry led her deeper into the WordPress world, where she developed a specialty in technical writing, video tutorials, and graphic design for website owners.

Shay became part of the Blue Ivory Creative team shortly after winning a drawing contest the company held at a conference. She found inspiration in Luke and Kathryn’s commitment to human-first content and creativity at every step.

Today, she brings that same creative range to every project, from long-form articles to visuals, always looking for the details that make something feel truer to the client’s vision.

Fun fact: Blue Ivory’s founders named and purchased, “Weeping Giant,” an original elephant painting by artist and bestselling author Angela Howell.

Why an elephant?

The Blue Ivory name dates back to 2011, when we launched as Blue Ivory Entertainment, a Nashville-based production company. The inspiration came from ivory piano keys — once carved from elephant tusks. You could say that made us a bit blue.

Over time, the elephant itself became a more fitting symbol for who we are and what we stand for. Today, Blue Ivory Creative is a team of marketing-minded creators with expertise in content production, graphic design, web development, and storytelling across every medium.

Like the elephant, we bring strength without aggression and intelligence without arrogance. Elephants form tight-knit family units, protect their herd, and never forget a face. We do the same with our clients — building long-term partnerships rooted in trust, collaboration, and creativity.

Elephants are regal and stoic, yet also playful and full of personality. They’re capable of extraordinary things, carried out with honor. That’s exactly how we approach our work.

We’re proud to be represented by the elephant.

Nice things people have said about our people

  • Blue Ivory is, by far, the best content agency I’ve worked with. I’ve been working with Luke and his team for over five years. Over that time, we’ve gradually handed them more complex work, because the quality has always held. Our product is genuinely complicated, and they’ve never struggled with it. Give them a strong brief and they deliver.

I know I can trust them because they work with writers our team has known and admired for years. When an agency is attracting that kind of talent, you know they’re doing something right.

  • Blue Ivory gives us the peace of mind knowing we do not have to worry about all of the technical aspects of managing a website along with the confidence to know that our change requests are handled expeditiously and professionally.

A total game changer for our nonprofit, allowing us to focus on families while knowing we are in great hands with our website
