Full-service marketing leadership
for a fast-growing regional solar company
For the better part of a decade, Blue Ivory Creative served as the outsourced in-house marketing department for Coastal Solar.
Coastal Solar had an internal marketing coordinator, but relied on Blue Ivory for the strategy, creative direction, production, and campaign execution needed to support rapid growth across multiple markets.
Our role extended far beyond project-based marketing support. We became a true extension of the team — helping build the brand, generate leads, support sales, strengthen community visibility, and fuel expansion across the Southeast.

Our role
Coastal Solar had ambitious goals in a competitive industry where prospects needed more than a simple ad or sales pitch. They needed clear explanations, credible expertise, financing information, proof of performance, and confidence that they were choosing the right provider.
Blue Ivory helped Coastal Solar meet that challenge with the marketing power of a much larger team — without the overhead of building one internally. Working closely with the company’s in-house marketing coordinator and leadership team, we guided overall strategy, developed campaigns, created content, managed lead generation, supported sales, and helped maintain a consistent brand presence across markets.
A major part of the work centered on building and maintaining a highly profitable lead generation system. That included a large library of original, expert-level content (a major undertaking before the world of AI), a deeply refined search ads and retargeting program, and the landing pages, emails, visuals, and sales materials needed to move prospects from early interest to serious consideration.
Our team visited Coastal Solar on site, participated in leadership retreats, supported local events, and became a genuine extension of the company’s internal team. We knew the brand, the people, the markets, the customer objections, and the growth goals — and that context allowed us to create marketing that was more aligned, more responsive, and more effective.
