High-Light Electric Inc. (HLE) is a family-owned, California-based electrical contractor that has evolved into a full-service construction firm with a strong foundation in complex electrical infrastructure projects. Founded in 1996, the company specializes in large-scale installation and systems work — including roadway signalization, highway and street lighting, fiber optics, and advanced monitoring systems — serving both public and private sector clients. With a reputation built on quality, safety, and long-term partnerships, HLE delivers comprehensive construction and electrical solutions for infrastructure projects while continuing to scale its operations and expand its impact.
The Project
High-Light Electric needed a new logo design that they could use across a variety of applications. Our first task was to develop a lettermark with the abbreviation of their company: HLE. We combined the letters into a simple, attractive graphic they could use on shirts, social profiles, and other small applications.
Then, we created a wordmark using their full company name. We converted the two “i”s into bridge supports and added a connecting bridge to demonstrate their industry and type of work. This is the perfect combination for larger applications like stationery, their website, and billboards.
