About Stone Source Pros
Stone Source Pros is a one stop shop for professionals looking for high-grade stone to complete their projects. They’re quarry owners, and pride themselves on delivering excellent goods for wholesale prices.
The Project
When Stone Source Pros reached out to us about building them a website for their wholesale business, they didn’t have a logo, color palette, or brand guidelines. So, of course, we helped them develop some brand assets!
We created the logo and brand palette to be a crossover design that both mimicked the rolling Great Smoky Mountain range and evoked piles of rock and gravel in a quarry. The color palette was based on a variety of native rocks from Tennessee, including Hulston marble, shale, limestone, and fieldstone.
We wanted the logo to also be easy to read at any size and work well for use cases such as embroidery for company apparel, so we kept the line work minimal. Overall, we wanted the design to have a pleasant, relaxing feel with an undertone of quiet strength that portrayed a company that was calm, confident, and reliable.
