About The Kansas City Area Parrot Head Club

The club’s purpose is to assist in charitable and environmental concerns while providing a variety of social activities for people interested in the music of Jimmy Buffett and the tropical lifestyle he sings about.

The Project

The Parrot Heads needed a new, modernized website that portrayed the fun-loving feeling they evoke, while still communicating their commitment to local charities. They also needed to be able to sell memberships, merchandise, and event tickets, and improve their internal processes. We built their site with WordPress and WooCommerce.

Key Functionality

  • Merchandise listings, with local pickup
  • Membership subscriptions that renew annually
  • Accounts for each member, where they can manage their payments and orders
  • Event listings, with the ability to sell tickets
  • Custom graphics and illustrations
